Who are we looking for?

We are looking for instrumentalists, video and sound editors, arrangers, and management mods.

Who is this being run by?

Currently, the head mod is solyong (@higuchiisgood on twt) and a team of (pre-accepted) soon-to-be announced organizational mods. Please feel free to DM me or the haisute_orch account with any questions you may have!

What is this group?

This group will be playing covers (meaning transcriptions or arrangements) of music from Hyper Projection Engeki Haikyuu!! Instrumentalists will receive sheet music parts just like a real-life orchestra, created by the arrangers. Video and sound editors will receive their recordings and put it into a video (most likely on YouTube). This is planned to be a long-term group, but with the freedom to pick and choose pieces based on your availability. :)

3. A good ear

FAQ

Signing Up

Q: How long will the interest check be open?
A: Until July 19.

Q: s the 'interest check' different from 'sign-ups' ?
A: The differences between the two are the level of commitment and amount of info we'll be asking for. With interest check, you're not committed, but with sign-ups, you're expected to be committed according to your availability. Tbh, the sign-up form will have a lot in common interest check form, just more questions.

Q: When will sign-ups be open?
A: They'll be open on July 20 and stay open for 1-2 weeks.

Q: Is there an age limit?
A: 13+!

Q: If we're not available now, can we join the group later?
A: Yes! This is planned to be a long-term group w/ freedom to pick and choose pieces based on your availability, so you can join whenever you wish! Right now is just an interest check to kick us off.

Q: I've never been a mod for anything EVER, can I still apply?
A: Yes! If you're accepted, we'll show you the ropes :)

Instruments

Q: What instrument spots are still available?
A: Everything will always be available! I will say that it would be really helpful to find people who play: trumpet, guitar, bass, cello/string bass, drumset and/or quads/bongo.

Q: If we don't own the instrument, but have access to it, can we mark it down?
A: Yes! For example, a school instrument, or an instrument that can only be accessed at a certain place (e.g. percussion instruments like glock/marimba or a studio rental) is fine! All we ask is that you are able to record and practice with it.

Other

Q: Do you think you guys would do a project like this but for the anime's ost?
A: HM. Tachibana-san and Hayashi-san's music is sooo good... Possibly! I'm focused on the haisute OST, but we could throw some of the anime osts into the mix!
